Avoid mentioning mentioning the decorative forms such as the style and orders of the columns and or talking about the decorations on the friezes.  You should rather than that discuss the technologies or sciences and engineering feats that allowed them to create larger more complex structures.  Without giving it away it's hard to get you to see but here are some ideas. 

What is the basic technology (not decorative stuff) that was used to build the Parthenon?  What was it made out of?  This was added to by the Romans and Stokstad even has a couple of those special inset boxes that explain how the Romans built their structures.  What materials did the Romans add and what did it allow them to do that was different then the Parthenon and evolved into the forms that supported the last two images.
