STARSTRUCK THEATRE’S A Little Princess JANUARY 11-27 Inspired by Francis Hodgson Burnett’s beloved story. Sara Crewe, a wealthy young student in a London boarding school, is told her father was killed while on a secret mission for the Queen. The headmistress makes the now penniless girl a servant. Sara proves that being a real princess takes heart, hope, and a little magic. With an updated script and a soaring score by Andrew Lippa.

ORGANIST Jenny Nagano Accompanies BUSTER KEATON’s Silent Film “College” (1927) MAY 3 Fri at 8:30pm Back for a repeat treat—Jerry is one of the Bay area’s premier organists when accompanying the enduringly hilarious classic silent films. Jerry has given organ concerts throughout the country and has been resident organist at the Stanford Theater in Palo Alto for many years performing on their Mighty Wurlitzer organ. Buster Keaton’s “College” is a comedy-drama about college students and their misadventures, with a classic love story and plenty of amazing stunts, performed by the great comic actor with the trademark deadpan expression. |
